RUH delivers $2000 to San Diego students headed to HBCU's

Restore, Uplift & Hope in partnership with the HBCU Alumni San Diego and the San Diego Guardians basketball team, gave away two $500 scholarships and one $1000 scholarship to 3 young San Diego county graduating students planning to attend an Historically Black College or University.


On Saturday evening June 26, 2021 at the San Diego Guardians basketball game, Restore Uplift and Hope presented scholarship money to these students...

  • Zoe McNeil $500 - Tuskegee University

  • Aliyah Richardson $500 - Xavier University of Louisiana

  • Ashea Brand $1000 - Clark Atlanta University

This is only the first of our scholarships for this specific cause. There has been huge support from the community and we hope to double our scholarship next academic year.
